30 October 2007, Nuffic won the tender for the last part of the present NFP & NPT programme. 14 September 2007, Han Aarts won the Leadership Prize of the European Association for International Education in Trondheim, Norway. 30 June 2007, PIE Chair Lem van Eupen signed the Agreement of Schokland together with the Minister Development Cooperation, the Minister of Education, Culture and Science, the Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Life Sciences, VSNU, SAIL, KNAW, NWO-WOTRO, DPRN. 10 May 2007, During the Annual Meeting of PIE, the PIE members have elected one new board member. Paul Althuis (TU Delft) and Thea de Jager ( Codarts) left as Board Members of PIE. Paul was Co-Chair of PIE from the start up phase until May this year. Thea was also Board Member during the entire existence of PIE. Thea will be replaced by Dick Wijnands from INHolland University of Applied Sciences. PIE is still looking for Paul's successor. In the meantime Lem van Eupen will chair PIE. 12 April 2007, the results of the Evaluation report on NFP and NPT has been discussed by DCO with various Dutch Players in de field, among which the Board of PIE. 30 March 2007, Ministry of Foreign Affairs/DCO has published the evaluation report of ECORYS on the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) and the Programme for Capacity Building in Developing Countries (NPT).
